Hilary Cotton

Hilary Cotton was elected Chair of WATCH (Women and the Church) in 2013. She has campaigned for women to be given equal treatment in the Church of England for over 30 years, through conversation, theological writing, working with Bishops and Parliamentarians, and exploring how feminism and Christianity are deeply compatible. 

She is passionate about getting more women into leadership, working as a coach and facilitator to enable this across all sectors of working life. Her background is in the Civil Service, where she learned the skills of good administration and management, both of which are essential to good leadership
