 Edward Mason

Edward Mason has been Secretary since 2009 of the Church of England's Ethical Investment Advisory Group (EIAG), an independent body advising the Church of England national investing bodies on ethical investment policy and practice.

The EIAG Secretariat supports the EIAG's policy-making and engagement with investee companies, as well as supporting the investing bodies as required on responsible ownership activities, including proxy voting at company general meetings.

Prior to entering ethical investment, Edward worked at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and then helped to establish the non-profit diplomatic advisory group Independent Diplomat. He has a degree in Modern History from the University of Oxford.
