Diane Sheard
Diane Sheard is UK Director
at The ONE Campaign, the international advocacy and campaigning organisation
working to end extreme poverty and preventable disease. In lobbying the
government and building popular support across the country, recent successes
have included new laws on company transparency and on aid spending.
Before
joining ONE, Diane was a career diplomat at the British Foreign &
Commonwealth Office and was posted to South Africa and to the United Nations in
New York. Although she has travelled all over the world from Afghanistan
to Zimbabwe, London remains her favourite city.
