The Church, Its Money and the Markets: Leeds Clergy Day

Clergy Learning Day

Venue: Leeds Business Hub
Date: 10th May 2012
Time: 10am - 3pm

A Christian response to questions of finance and economics is as urgent now as it has ever been. However, as stated by Archbishop Rowan, this response is often held back by many feeling 'intimidated by expertise'.

For this reason St Paul's Institute, Ministry to Business and CCLA Investment Management - the specialist investment managers for Churches, invite members of the clergy from across the Northern Province to a Learning Day on the financial markets, the City and the Church.

Starting with the basics we will provide you with:
* An enhanced understanding of the way in which the Church works financially and interfaces with financial markets,
* A measure of financial literacy
* A knowledge of how the City operates on a daily basis.

Each session is led by an 'approachable expert' with practical experience, and is undertaken in an entertaining and informative way.

"I attended this conference in London with 60 others and found it to be one of the very best and most useful day conferences I have attended in ages!" - Rev. Rob Hinton.

The venue is the Leeds Business Hub - CLUB LS1 just five minutes walk from the station. The day will be provided free of charge, and will include a hot buffet lunch as well as tea and coffee throughout. Further information and a full agenda will be provided for those who register.

This day is open only to clergy and registration is essential.

Please RSVP to Rev. Rob Hinton, Minister to Business in Leeds: or CLUB LS1 0113 3882800
