Launch of Eco Church
LAUNCH EVENTTuesday 26th January 2016
6.30pm, Crypt of St Paul's Cathedral
Join us to celebrate the launch of Eco Church, a brand new project to help your church care for God's earth, at St. Paul's Cathedral. Held in partnership between A Rocha UK, Christian Aid, Tearfund and St Paul's Institute this launch event will introduce the new scheme and provide the resources needed to start the journey of making your church an Eco Church.
Speakers for the evening will be the Rt Revd & Rt Hon Dr Rowan Williams, Dr Ruth Valerio and the Revd Nigel Hopper.
Eco Church has been designed to help churches integrate environmental care throughout their church life, through worship and teaching; the management of buildings and grounds; community and global engagement, and through the personal lifestyle of church members. All the work you do will count towards a prestigious Bronze, Silver or Gold Eco Church Award.
