Launch of Capital Mass

Monday 23rd November, 6.45pm
Crypt of St Paul's Cathedral

The Capital Mass Launch will be a dynamic market place:

· Highlighting the broad range of poverty and inequality across the Diocese of London.

· Exploring and unpacking the work which Capital Mass will engage in.

· Celebrating the work already delivered through churches and charities across the Diocese of London.

Capital Mass is a joint venture between the Church Urban Fund and the Diocese of London which works for the alleviation of poverty.  Through market stalls and speakers corners our aim is that you will not simply hear about Capital Mass rather you'll experience it and how its work links to the Capital Vision 2020 themes: Confident, Compassionate, Creative.

Throughout the crypt, market stalls and installations will paint the picture of inequality in London, connecting you to the need and how you can respond.  Within the crypt there will also be three speakers' corners.  Throughout the evening key leaders in London will speak (TED style) on the issue their organisation addresses to provide stimulation and encouragement for those who want to know more about how to engage.

We hope that you can join us for this important and inspiring event.  More information about the many different organisations you can hear from on the night, and registration for tickets can be found at:

Tickets for this event are free, but places are limited.
