Tom Sanderson

 Tom Sanderson Tom Sanderson is the UK Director of Five Talents. He read Economics at Cambridge University and then worked as a UK Government Economist for 10 years in Whitehall, working to reform the Agriculture and Fisheries policies. He did a Masters Degree in Economics at University College London.

He then spent 5 years as a Community Development Officer in Kabale, S.W Uganda, on secondment with the Church Mission Society, where he was involved in many development initiatives including microfinance. On return to the UK in 2005, Tom was invited by the Archbishop of Canterbury to start Five Talents in the UK - a Christian charity supporting microfinance in Africa, Asia and Latin America.
