JustShare Debate: Can Fairtrade Prosper in a Recession?

With Professor Paul Palmer (Cass Business School), Andrew Emmott (Liberation Nuts) and James Bennett (Fairtrade Foundation).

Professor Palmer will examine the economics of Fairtrade and consumer choice; Andrew Emmott will discuss the practical challenges of getting peanuts from Fairtrade farmers in Malawi onto supermarket shelves in the UK and how the recession has impacted this work; and James Bennett will give the perspective of the Fairtrade Foundation.
