Barbara Ridpath
Director (BRidpath@stpaulscathedral.org.uk)
Having spent most of her career in finance in New York, London and Paris, Barbara believes that the restoration of trust in the financial system is best achieved through the power of thoughtful individual actions and behaviours among participants in the system: as employees, managers, investors and public policymakers.
Barbara has an A.B. degree in Economics cum laude from Smith College and a Masters in International Affairs from Columbia University. She is a member of Council at Chatham House, the Royal Institute of International Affairs.
Robert Gordon
Manager
With the new direction of St Paul's Institute in 2009, Robert took over responsibility of the day-to-day management of the organisation including facilitation of the Institute's event programme and agenda; administration of social media and the Institute website; and the creation and editing of online video resources for the cathedral as a whole. He also sits on the Steering Group of JustShare, a coalition of churches and charities committed to global development and social justice that operates out of St Mary-le-Bow Church, Cheapside.
Originally from Australia, Robert received a B.A. (Hons) from Melbourne University with a degree in Anthropology focused on comparative religion. He continued his studies by relocating to the UK and receiving an M.A. in Museum Studies from University College London whilst volunteering for a number of cultural heritage and church-based organisations. A keen and active writer, he has particular interest in reconciling faith and morality with notions of success and progress that the modern world is centred upon.
Nicola Davis
Administrative Assistant
Nicola is our newest member of staff and takes care of Administration at the Institute. She recently graduated from Warwick University with an MA in International Cultural Management and Policy, focusing on British heritage and arts and how best to look after, manage and fund cultural heritage. Before that she received a BA(hons) in Theology from Exeter University, where her studies centred on Christian history and ethics.
Nicola has previously worked within Marketing and Admin in the creative sector and both worked and volunteered for heritage, cultural and charitable organisations. She was also a member of the Bishops Youth Council for several years in Birmingham Diocese and worked alongside the Bishop to improve youth work within Birmingham churches as well as run events for young people.
